As I drove home the other day,I noticed a yellow light on my dash,which indicated that I was to check the engine.I quickly noted the water temperature and the oil light to see if there were any problems1would cause an overheated engine.2(note)these two were okay,I thought I could ignore the little yellow light for at least the moment.After reading the3(instruct),I found the check engine light comes on to indicate there is4problem and that service is required.Malfunctions will often be indicated by the system before any problem is apparent,5may prevent more serious damage to the vehicle.This system6(design)to assist you in finding out any malfunction.Reading the instructions made me think of7we need someone in our lives to be our “check engine light”.We need to know when a problem occurs and when service is required.We need to correct our problems8serious damage surfaces.We need a light to come on in our minds to help us to avoid problems,and to tell us not to yield9temptation.We need10(remind)that we shouldn’t ignore good and should work to make life better for all about us.
