基于上述的检验报告，我们在此对你方提出总计为500美元的索赔。

Therefore, we are asking you to amend your L/C to read “Partial shipment and transshipment allowed”.

You may contact the Bank of China, Beijing Branch, for any information concerning our credit standing.

While placing our order we emphasized that any delay in delivery would definitely add to the cost of the goods.
